Distance. A 5K is 3.1 miles. Kids' dashes are a few hundred yards. Some races add a 4-miler, a 10K or a half marathon.
Start time. Among Ohio races with posted times, first adult starts run from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Allow time for parking.
Price. Many races raise the fee as race day nears. Each card lists the posted steps, and we flag a real increase or the online signup deadline when it's a week away.
Strollers and dogs. Rules vary a lot. We show them only when the race states them, with its exact words.

Pick your state, then enter your ZIP code. We sort races by straight-line distance from the center of your ZIP and show each race's start times and prices where the race posted them. Ohio is live now.
Why do some races say 2025?
Some races haven't posted their 2026 date yet. Until they do, we list them with last year's date and times, clearly marked 2025, so you know the race exists and roughly when it ran. We never present a 2025 detail as a 2026 one.
